The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a type certification for the Dassault Aviation business jet, the Falcon 7X.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued its validation of the EASA certification for the U.S. market.

The EASA "Type Certificate" is valid throughout the EU, as well as in Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, where the Falcon 7X can be legally registered and operated.

The Falcon 7X is the first fly-by-wire business jet, also equipped with an "EASy" flight deck and advanced integrated avionics.

The three-engine Falcon 7X is certified to carry up to 19 passengers at 0.9 Mach.

The certification process for the Falcon 7X began in 2002 within the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) and was taken over by EASA in 2006. A team of 33 certification specialists scrutinized the design of the aircraft to ensure compliance with European safety and environmental standards.
