ADS-B Technologies began deliveries on its second signed contract with the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) in July.
The contract called for ADS-B to deliver and install two additional ground broadcast transceivers (GBTs), 50 additional aircraft and several spares.
By the time the contract is complete, CAFUC will have 7 GBTs and more than 200 Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) aircraft flying from its flight training centers in Central China.
"With these additional ground stations and aircraft, CAFUC will now be one of the largest end-to-end ADS-B projects in the world," said Skip Nelson, ADS-B Technologies CEO.
The ADS-B (UAT) coverage for the University's XinJin, Guanghan, Suining, Mianyang, Louyang and Nanyang sub-colleges spans more than 1.200 km in Central China.
