Scope:
The equipment specified herein is a hand-held microphone
assembly designed for use as an FAA standard and used with communication
systems at air traffic control facilities. The assembly consists of a dynamic
microphone and amplifier mounted in a high impact plastic case with
push-to-talk switch, and a connecting retractile cord with plug. The
microphone assembly is designed to suppress undesired background noises and
voices.
