Scope:
This specification sets forth the requirements for a precision
approach path indicator (PAPI) system that is used to provide accurate
approach path guidance to pilots of landing aircraft. The PAPI system consists
of four housing assemblies, a compact power and control assembly, an aiming
instrument set, and a remote monitoring subsystem (RMS).
