Scope:
This specification sets forth the requirements for Low Density
Radio Communications Link (LDRCL) microwave systems that are assembled from
commercially available production off-the-shelf equipment. The microwave
system will be used to support the backbone Radio Communications Link (RCL)
microwave system, and for stand alone point to point microwave link
applications. The contractor shall engineer, provide, and install when
ordered, complete systems to satisfy the specified requirements in a
configuration that is complete and ready for operation. Equipment will be
supplied for operation in three frequency ranges. All systems shall be tested
to verify that operation conforms to the specifications prior to final
acceptance by the Government. The test requirements are delineated in the
Statement of Work (SOW). The requirements as stated are applicable to all
systems designed and installed under this specification.
