a. Establish procedures and assign responsibilities within
the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for certification of Amphibious Assault
Ship (LHA/LHD) Precision Approach and Landing Systems (PALS).
b. Publish PALS certification responsibilities for Program
Executive Officer, Ships (PEO SHIPS) and NAVAIR.
c. Publish responsibilities for the NAVAIR certification
teams, established by references (a) and (b).
