Scope:

- The filter kit described herein is for an L-band microwave filter to work in conjunction with FAA Long Range Radar Systems. The radar systems operate in the frequency band between 1250 MHz and 1350 MHz. The L-band microwave filter will replace a section of waveguide presently installed between the waveguide switch and the point where the waveguide enters the building. A standard waveguide section will be required in addition to the filter to maintain an exact overall total length specified herein. A two way broadband directional coupler will be provided at the output of the filter to allow measurement of actual in-band transmitted power on the ARSR.
