Scope:
Purpose:
This specification defines the requirements of the Crimplock
fastening system consisting of crimp nuts and flush or protruding
head crimp pins. The installed Crimplock fastening system provides
for an assembly with uniform clamping force and a mechanically
locked nut to a pin. The installed components result in a
permanently installed fatigue-rated fastener for aerospace
structures.
