Scope:
This specification contains the requirements of the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) for UHF antennas. These antennas will be used in
an RF data link network of identical transceivers stationed within a maximum
range of ten miles. Equipment to be delivered is required to meet the
technical standards of the National Telecommunications and Information
Administration (NTIA) "Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio
Frequency Management," for antennas.
