Scope:
This AIAA Standard covers definitions of terms and acronyms used
in the design, analysis, development, manufacture, construction and
operation of space structures. Systems and subsystems which
comprise space structures are covered where appropriate.
Definitions presented in this Standard are related to space
structures and limited to statements of meaning rather than
encyclopedia or textbook discussions. Trade-name systems and
components are neither defined nor included in the standard.
