THE SCOPE OF THIS DESIGN STANDARD IS TO ESTABLISH STANDARD
DIMENSIONS FOR VLIND RIVETS. STANDARD INSTALLATION TOOLING
(RIVETERS AND NOSE PIECES) HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AND ARE WIDELY USED
IN THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY. THE CONFIGURATION ESTABLISHED HEREIN
WILL ASSURE THAT BLIND REVETS WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH CURRENTLY
AVAILABLE TOOLING WITHIN GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY FACILITIES.
