Scope:

AIM

The aim of this agreement is to standardize the definitions of pressure terms used in the design and safety testing of those cannons, mortars and associated ammunitions that are used by NATO Naval and Army Forces, in order to facilitate interchangeability. It is the intention that these definitions and their interrelationship should be applied as far as is possible to all gun type weapon systems.
