Scope:
Purpose
This ACMP establishes requirements and procedures for
Configuration Control and is applicable to the acquisition and
modification of Configuration Items (CI) procured for multinational
joint projects. This ACMP also establishes requirements, formats,
and procedures for the preparation of configuration control
documentation. This ACMP includes requirements for:
a. Preparing and submitting Engineering Change Proposals (ECP),
Requests for Deviations (RFD), Requests for Waivers (RFW), and
Notices of Revision (NOR);
b. Submitting the technical, financial, and logistic supporting
information necessary to define the impact of ECP, RFD and RFW;
c. Ensuring that the necessary contractual and financial
authorizations are received before approved departures from the
configuration documentation specified in the contract are
implemented;
d. Maintaining configuration control of CI, hardware, software,
and firmware;
e. Interface management; and
